I’m Fulvio Barozzini from Italy. I live in a quiet village alongside lake Como.
I work for an IT company as a technical officer, specialized in network infrastructures.
I started sim-racing with Grand Prix Legends in the early-2000s and fell instantly in love with it. Soon I became a specialist of the BRM car, the slowest and toughest one to drive.
I did almost 150 races from 2005 to 2010 in Italian, European and American leagues and scored several race and championships wins.
The next important step would have been to move from Grand Prix Legends (sadly) to iRacing.com in late 2010.
I started climbing up classes with open wheelers, from Skip Barber to Williams FW31, reaching the 2011 iRacing PRO Series Road Racing in a handful of months. I qualified for the 2012 iRacing World Championship Grand Prix Series, which I finished in 10th place, scoring several top-10 and top-5 finishes.
In 2013 things went even better and I almost finished in the money prize, unfortunately losing them with retirements in the final 2 races.
6th place overall in the end with a lot of highlights: 3 times in 4th place, a podium and a WIN!
From 2014 on my commitment has reduced dramatically and I couldn’t keep up the good results in the WCGPS.
In 2015 I joined Orion Race Team in order to help them in the qualifier series for the BlancPain Endurance Series World Championship. We achieved that task and I am looking forward to the future, with different cars and racing as well!
